I’ve always been bad about eating on a budget. For the most part, i’m not a fan of leftovers and I feel I never have time to make food during the weekday. Once you get that 9-to-5 job, you find yourself lacking time and you will go out to eat more often.
Well, I found the solution. Chicken Salad Sandwiches! I was at Vons the other day and discovered the Chicken Salad at the deli. It’s 5.99/lbs so I didn’t think it would be a good deal. Heck, I could get chicken cuts in the meat section for .99/lb on sale! However, I think I discovered something great and wanted to share.
The Chicken Salad is good…but eating it by itself is nothing to call home about. Just put this bad boy on some whole wheat bread and you got yourself a quick cheap meal (not to mention relatively healthy)!
If you buy 1lbs of chicken salad, it will last you 2-3 meals. That’s roughly $2-3.50 for lunch!
Recently, Kellyne and I bought a Lava Sport & Fitness Featuring The Boxing Club membership from thedailysave.com for $18. We thought it would be a great activity we could do together. The $18 included 1 month all inclusive membership with 1 free personal training session. We called in a couple weeks ago to schedule our personal training session and first time going to this boxing club in San Diego.
I went rock climbing for the first time outdoors at Mission Trails Park in San Diego, CA. Made a short little video (unfortunately I did the recording so no good video of me!) It was really nice being outdoors and being “one with nature”. I really enjoy all these outdoor sports ( rock climbing, surfing, etc ).

Also Kellyne and I got a 1 month membership to a boxing club ( http://www.theboxingclub.net/ ). It should be something fun we can do together. We also got it for $18! Its regularly like $150 or something?
